The Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations require employers to appoint ‘one or more competent persons‘ to help them to meet their duty to control risks at work. A competent person is someone with the necessary skills, knowledge and experience to manage health and safety.

For companies who don’t have an appointed competent person or those that need some assistance, Evolve Training can help by providing an advisory service carried out by our qualified Occupational Health and Safety advisors.

Evolve’s Occupational Health and Safety advisors provide an initial workplace gap analysis and from there they can offer a fully managed Safety Support Service, where we undertake all the work, or we can provide a written report with proposed solutions and recommendations.
